Muskan Foundation is a registered NGO established in 2006, working with rural, tribal and marginalised communities of Jharkhand. Through education, women empowerment, sustainable livelihoods, agriculture, health and senior citizen care, we help people live with dignity and build a better future — in partnership with government departments, institutions, CSR partners and local communities.

Aims and Objectives
Education & Child Development
Promote inclusive and equitable access to education by supporting disadvantaged children through educational awareness, learning opportunities, child development initiatives, and community engagement. Encourage school participation, holistic development, and awareness of children's rights.
Women Empowerment
Strengthen women's social and economic independence through skill development, SHG formation, entrepreneurship promotion, and capacity-building. Encourage women's leadership, financial awareness, collective decision-making, and sustainable income-generating opportunities.
Sustainable Livelihoods
Enhance the economic well-being of rural and marginalised communities through vocational training, handicraft development, artisan support, and entrepreneurship. Promote practical skills and market-oriented activities for long-term livelihood security.
Health & Social Welfare
Promote community well-being through health awareness, hygiene education, preventive healthcare, reproductive and sexual health awareness, and access to essential services — with attention to women, adolescent girls, children and underserved rural populations.
Inclusive Community Development
Promote dignity, equality, and social inclusion by supporting senior citizens, persons with disabilities, and other vulnerable communities. Advance awareness of social rights and facilitate access to care, support, and welfare initiatives.
Agriculture & Rural Development
Support farmers and rural households through agricultural training, improved farming practices, awareness programmes, and access to agricultural inputs. Encourage sustainable agriculture and capacity building for economically resilient farming communities.

Our Vision
To create a society which is inclusive, equitable, and independent, wherein everybody — irrespective of social and economic status — has a chance to live with dignity and avail all necessary facilities for sustainable well-being. We aspire for self-dependent rural and tribal societies wherein women take up roles in changing societies economically and socially, children and youth have chances to excel, and no one is left behind.
Our Mission
Muskan Foundation endeavours to bring about change in the lives of disadvantaged communities through community-based and sustainable development practices — strengthening rural livelihoods, empowering women and artisans, spreading awareness on education and health care, tribal development, providing proper care for the aged, and working for social inclusion and human rights through skill development, community involvement and strategic partnerships.

A note on our journey since 2006 and the road ahead.
At Muskan Foundation, we firmly believe that development is an outcome of empathy, community involvement and equality for all. Ever since its inception in 2006, Muskan Foundation has been striving to empower rural and marginalised communities through education, empowerment of women, sustainable livelihoods, agriculture, healthcare and social welfare. Our mission has always been to make sure that each individual gets due respect and an opportunity to develop.
We understand that development is not possible without partnerships. We thank our sponsors, government organisations, the corporate sector, volunteers and community members who help us further our mission. Moving ahead, Muskan Foundation pledges to remain transparent, accountable and development-oriented, and we look forward to meaningful partnerships with corporations and other development organisations.
